Common Sense Parenting
Common Sense Parenting is a skill-based parenting program that equips parents with easy-to-use skills that are effective in increasing children’s positive behaviors, decreasing children’s problem behaviors and for teaching children acceptable alternatives. It is designed for parents of young children, parents of teenagers, those who need to learn new parenting skills, and those looking to build on existing skills.
Since 1989, the Common Sense Parenting program has positively impacted children through its six-session parenting classes. In each of these two-hour sessions, parents learn specific skills that they can begin using right away. Please contact the Family Life office to see if a Common Sense parenting facilitator is available to lead a program in your area.
