Finance - Mission Statement |
The Office of Finance is directly responsible to the Bishop of the Diocese and the Diocesan Finance Committee. The director, appointed by the bishop, assumes the responsibilities of financial administrator of the diocese under Canon 494. This office is responsible for administering the funds of the diocese under the authority of the bishop, assisting and advising the Diocesan Finance Committee, preparing interim and annual financial statements, preparing and presenting an annual budget, and coordinating Special Diocesan Collections. The director also has primary responsibility to administer the following:
