The Columbia Refugee Garden is located behindBroadwayChristian Church in Columbia, MO. Currently we are building a new garden next to the community garden already in place. Burmese refugees will use this plot to grow food for their families as well as other refugees in their community.

The garden will provide opportunities for these men and women to pull themselves out of poverty while maintaining their farming heritage. It will be an outlet for them to connect to their past and what they know while living in an unknown country and city.

From the foundations of the Columbia Refugee Garden, we've been documenting the process each step of the way.  Soon we will have gone from merely hoping for a distant dream to reaping the fruits of our labor.  As exciting new progress is made in the garden, we want to keep all of our partners and supporters posted on the news!  Keep up to date on all the most recent Columbia Refugee Garden developments by following the link below!
