Offering concrete vehicles for Catholics and others to become involved in the work of justice. This includes the Social Concerns Office's special areas of concentration:

Death penalty
Rural life (preserving family farms, the environment and strengthening rural communities)
Economic justice (health care, welfare reform, fair and adequate taxation, state and federal budget issues, worker rights, jobs, just wages and immigration reform)
Working for peace
Educating Catholics and the broader community about the Church's social teaching
